Dr. Larsen, DVM

Dr. Hans Larsen has been a team member at West Eugene and Pleasant Hill Animal Hospitals since 2002. He grew up in the local area on a small farm. His interest in veterinary medicine started early during his years participating in 4-H raising and showing sheep. He completed his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 at Oregon State University and started his career as a mixed animal (both large/farm animal and small animal) practitioner. Hans later moved back to Eugene to raise his kids and practice here at West Eugene and Pleasant Hill Animal Hospitals.

Dr. Larsen loves the challenge and variety of practicing veterinary medicine. He is passionate about helping people maximize their pet’s quality of life. He enjoys working with his team members at West Eugene and Pleasant Hill Animal Hospitals and developing long-lasting relationships with clients.

In his free time, Dr. Larsen likes to spend time with family and friends, working on the farm, and hunting. His family enjoys the company of two dogs (Tyson and Murphy), three goats (Choco, Bella, and Jewels), and six cows (Durin, Dane, Eowyn, Alfalfa, Mop Top, and Skid).
